Dish Network Program Guide

I was reminded of another reason I like Dish Satellite program better than Cable on a recent vacation. I was at a hotel looking through the channel guide and I realized that I had forgotten all about interactive menu you get with Dish Network and DirecTV.

On cable I couldn't hop from channel 7 down to 105 in a split second like with DISH. I had to wait for the guide to slowly crawl its way down to channel 105. Not so with the the interactive Dish Network program Guide.

Once there I couldn't pull up a full description of the program nor could I even get a complete program name! How pathetic!

These pitifully short titles, virtually lacking any description at all, is all you get. I also couldn't group or search all of the NEWS programs together or sports or movies or documentaries, etc.

I also couldn't pull up a list of my favorite channels or my wife's favorite channels like I could with the Dish Network program Guide online..
